Workshop Overview and Description


Get out of your head and into your life! Life can be hectic, stressful and trying to manage it all with our good graces intact can be challenging. Come along to this workshop to learn simple techniques that can help you to feel more grounded, less stressed, more relaxed and happier. Mindfulness is a empirically supported, meditation-based practice of intentionally regulating attention to the present moment experience of the breath, body and sensations to increase the wellbeing of practitioners. Workshop includes guided meditation mp3 and handout.


Teacher: Brenda J. Bentley, Certified Mindfulness and Self-Compassion Teacher and Therapist. She has been teaching mindfulness and self-compassion to individuals and groups for over 10 years and holds a Masters' Degree in Mindfulness and Compassion Studies from Aberdeen University, Scotland. She is committed to helping people discover mindfulness and self-compassion as pathways to well-being.
